4G Excavation is a proudly family-founded and operated excavation company founded by Donnie and Meri Greenhood. We put family first, and bring those family-values into every job we do.

As Utah locals, our companies are based out of Coalville, Utah. We service most counties around the area, and have been blessed with several master service agreements with companies like Rocky Mountain Utah, recognizing the importance of helping Utah grow.

For 33 years, Donnie was a Journeyman Lineman. This created extensive experience in utility, infrastructure, excavation and construction. As members of the Local 57 Lineman Union, we learned the importance of quality work, and quality relationships.

After decades of working far and wide, we saw an opportunity to bring that experience home—building a business in Utah where we could serve our community with the same standards we've maintained throughout our careers. Forming 4G Excavation & 4G Trucking allowed us to do exactly that, with the added blessing of being close to family and grandkids as we continue doing the work we love.
